Animatic:

This is my Animatic for my film trailer, and it includes the three songs I am having on my trailer, but in some sections of my Animatic it is silent, and that is because when there are taglines, I will have a female voice over on my trailer saying them, and I will also have the female voice over at the end saying the name of the film and release date, and when it is silent and it has the characters on it is because they're speaking in this scene.

Also when I was making the Animatic, I decided to change my original idea of having a male voice over. I know it is a convention of romcoms to have a male voice over, as seen on 'Bridget Jones Diary', but I feel having a female voice over will be better suited to my trailer, and my audience, as with a female voice-over, it is like she is speaking about all women, and the audience can relate to what she is saying and connect with her, as they may have gone through that, and I now see it is quite unusual for a man to have to say 'every girl dreams of finding Mr Right', as when he says it the audience won't relate to what he is saying as he is male, and therefore may not want to see the film.

I began filming on November 10th, and I changed my original idea of having my characters meeting at a bust stop. I changed this as we attempted to film it, but it was too difficult as there was people at the bus stop, and while we were filming it the bus came, and also the bus stop is very ear to the road, and you can hear the cars, and see the cars and lorries going by, and I know that adds to the verisimilitude of the trailer, but it made it very difficult to film so I decided to change it. I changed it to a long shot of the female character Sarah walking down the street, and the male character Alex bumps into her, and then we go to a tagline and the next shot is him helping her, and them looking at each other, and it is almost a cliche as this is featured in romcoms, and the shot is of them looking into each others eyes, which represents the genre of romcom, as it is romantic but quite cheesy, and that is what most romcoms are. The shot also has her in a red coat, and I thought this would be almost a warning to the audience what is going to happen, as red is a code used for danger, and it suggests danger, that something is going to happen to them.
